Honorary members

In 2012, CINet started to honour those members that have made a great contribution to the CINet as a network. Since then the following members have been granted honorary membership:

Harry Boer 
2022 | The CINet Honorary Membership is granted in recognition of Harry’s enormous contributions to the development of CINet; his commitment to the network and its members in his roles as chairman, treasurer and board member, but most of all as the organizer of CINet conferences, the creator and core faculty member of the CINet PhD seminars and the PhD workshops, and the leader of numerous CINet research projects, including CI and CINet surveys. Harry’s continuous support to new and old colleagues in the network have been key to form a strong and cohesive network of international researchers and his great intellectual contributions have been fundamental to establish continuous innovation as a school of thought.

2013 | The CINet Honorary Membership is granted in recognition of Mariano’s contribution to the development of CINet; his commitment to the network and its members as a founding board member, as one of the organizers of the 2006 conference in Lucca, a research seminar and three PhD seminars, and as a faculty member of the PhD workshops and seminars; and his resolve to continuously improve the quality and relevance of (continuous) innovation research.

2012 | The CINet Honorary Membership is granted in recognition of Jeannette’s contribution to the development of CINet, as a sign of respect for her energy, flexibility and sense of humor and, above all, her unrelenting service, as CINet’s Executive Secretary, to the network and its members.

John Bessant 
2002 | Professor John Bessant is honorary chair of CINet. He is one of the founding members and widely acknowledged for his work on innovation, ranging from incremental, continuous improvement to discontinuous innovation.
