Conference venue

The conference and all other academic activities related to confeence will take place at Centro Congressi “Le Benedettine”, a beautiful cloister that dates back to 1393 and is owned by the University of Pisa. It is very close to the central train station (850m), Pisa airport (2,4 km), the city center (750m) and the Leaning Tower (1200m). The congress center has a guest house with about 40 rooms at cheap prices equiped with Eduroam wi-fi. There are many hotels and restaurants on walking distance.

Opening reception

We will welcome you at the rooftop of the Grand Hotel Duomo, which is a few meters from the tower of Pisa and has a spectacular view to the Piazza dei Miracoli.

Conference dinner

The conference dinner will be held at Domus Comeliana, an exclusive historical location in the heart of Pisa. It is an authentic residence with its own history and presence in the city, in the best Italian architectural tradition.
